Lovely new summer scarves (with tags) for a tenner just added by liberty of London outlet on ebay one of the colours here

dawndonnaagain · 04/06/2014 15:16

Hello, may I join.
I got some nice jewellery for the teens in the Dotcomgiftshop sale, along with some tins, a set of three, cake, biscuit, etc. for £4.95. Bought a couple of sets of those for neighbours.
Also got winter boots in Schuh, again for teens, reduced from £75.00 to £15.00. Said teens think I'm strange Christmas shopping in July, but that's why!

dawndonnaagain · 04/06/2014 15:21

Those scarves a gorgeous, I've just ordered one! My birthday is in December, it will go away until then!

BornToFolk · 04/06/2014 15:25

I'm tempted by those Liberty scarves. Are they genuine Liberty though? The prices seem a bit too good to be true!

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 04/06/2014 15:55

Thanks Horny just ordered one of those.

I've got lots of presents and spent a whole lot of money since joining this thread!

Reastie · 04/06/2014 16:33

Those scarves are lovely, I gave alot of scarves as gifts last year so Confused not sure I can get away with it 2 years in a row. Does anyone know what kind of rrp they have to know how good a deal it is?

Furby Boom Waves £28 on Amazon

ButchCassidy · 04/06/2014 16:51

I can't find an Argos with the Imaginext T. rex in store Hmm

HornyHandsofToil · 04/06/2014 16:51

The other stuff I've seen sold by liberty are sample items (like when they have 10/50/200 samples but for whatever reason they don't mass produce them and stock at the store. I don't know how much cotton scarves would go for but a silk liberty scarf retails for over 100 and there's a silk one in same size going for 20 on their ebay site.

Mama1980 · 04/06/2014 16:52

Thanks for the scarf link have bought 3 Blush my mum and two sil just love scarves

ButchCassidy · 04/06/2014 16:56

If anybody knows of an Argos with them in stock pls let me know. I'm north west ! Thanks

JohnnyDeppsfuturewife · 04/06/2014 17:07

I just looked on the liberty website and scarves were about £200 (didn't really look at what their fabric was etc.) I am tempted to buy one of those for Dmil.

I have just been to my local sainsburys and found the Lego friends juice bar with 25% off. It was £18.74 although their website advertises it as £24.99

sainsbos link here

There were other bargains like cheaper Disney duplo but I can only remember this one as dd1 has already asked for it.

It's my fourth Lego bargain in a month so I think Lego fans just need to pop into the toy section of tesco and sainsburys every time they go to do food shopping.

To a couple of people who didn't like zulilly, I find it a great way of finding new brands, but I always compare the prices to amazon and look at camelcamelcamel. Often zulilly is more expensive but last year I found a couple of amazing bargains there that were much cheaper than amazon. Even amazon give high rrps, and when you look on camelcamelcamel most products never go anywhere near that price.

I have also discovered that Jojo Bebe Maman has quite a good outlet site on their website.

These sleep suits are so cute I almost want another baby

The crowd have made me buy something again . A Libery scarf purchased for MIL.

If you're worried about giving scarves two years in a row you could always give it to her Xmas 2015. Smile

Reastie · 04/06/2014 18:00

I might save it for MIL birthday next year Johnny then it isn't like getting a scarf 2 years in a row for Christmas and it looks quite a light cotton one so maybe suited for a spring present.

I really must start making a list together to put gifts with people...

I know. This thread maybe not such a money saver once I start buying Liberty scarves for myself. Blush

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 04/06/2014 18:11

I got totally swept away with the bargain mania last year and bought a scarf (think it was from Sainsburys mag?) and didn't even have anyone to buy it for. Just got it because it was cheap Blush

Ended up giving it away to someone on the thread who hadn't managed to grab one.

MayhemMostDays · 04/06/2014 18:13

I agree about Zulilly. I think it's only popular on here because of the referral links that earn the poster £20 a pop.

Dotcomgiftshop is another one to be wary of. Can normally find the items elsewhere cheaper.

Shop savy folks.

FiloFunky · 04/06/2014 18:19

I'm after cheap and cheerful stationary for a life planner :) post it's, pens, clips paper clips. Then funkier the better please!

HornyHandsofToil · 04/06/2014 18:37

I always keep a lookout for sales at this French brand cyrillus and love their liberty print accessories for kids.

I'm no seamstress but liberty fabric retails for 20 quid a meter. I was thinking I could get a headband and a children's sized scarf (or two) out of one scarf.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 04/06/2014 18:46

Bakugan battle arena and figure reserved for pick-up tomorrow, plus bought two really cheap bakugans on Amazon to make it a complete package for DS!

Nautical bracelet received and is lovely. Will be giving it as a gift for SIL after she gives birth in 3 weeks time as we don't typically exchange Christmas pressies.

Thanks all!

Reastie · 04/06/2014 19:16

I want to setup a friend as she's admired my filofax Smile

Anyone else a FF fan?!

LottieAndTheDinosaur · 04/06/2014 19:54

I think the pink liberty scarf has sold out - not sure if they will relist?

I was dithering around trying to resist but when I saw there were only 2 left I had to buy one Blush not sure whether SIL will like it so it will probably be for me
