shutit that's a fab idea!

I'm on the hunt for a bargain elf too this year, tried making one from a barbie type doll last year but apparently I'm not very good at making barbie sized clothes Grin

CallingAllEngels · 30/05/2014 08:21

Love the colour in playhouse but can't see on the Dutch site - boo!

I need to start thinking and making lists. DC2 due just after Christmas so want to get most of shopping done over the Christmas holidays and make sure all my UK presents can be dropped off at the beginning of October which'll be the last time we're over.

CallingAllEngels · 30/05/2014 08:25

sally I love a good puppet! Last year DS got an elephant in his stocking and a frog from dsis but I'm really buying them for myself!

The finger lights are going back in the stocking next year as well!

Starlingsintheslipstream · 30/05/2014 09:26

Thank you for the PJ link ShoopShoop. I have just ordered some for myself Smile.

lucysmam · 30/05/2014 09:31

Right, I need £2.01 worth of something on amazon that's elegible (sp?) for free super saver delivery so I can press go on my current order...any suggestions are welcome Grin (I figure this is as good a place to ask as anywhere)

TulipOHare · 30/05/2014 09:56

Hi all, Zulily have loads of Christmas things today. Some great bargains on decorations especially. I bought a few bits and then came here to see if there was a Christmas bargains topic already. And there is Grin yay!

Mipe · 30/05/2014 10:44

CallingAllEngels are you in Holland? I am Dutch but live in England :).

MooseyMoo · 30/05/2014 11:01

lucysmam I had forgotten but I ordered in Nov 2013 to arrive in August. Very excited - will have to not put it in a very special place otherwise will forget where I've put it!

I pre-ordered from this site My Little Elf

I really liked the Gund Elf too. Looks like you can get an email alert when back in stock

shutitweirdo · 30/05/2014 11:04

I got my elf this time last year from Amazon. It shipped over from America in plenty of time. I'll have a look and try a Linky thing.

WisemansBridge · 30/05/2014 12:14

Delivery for £1 from the works on any order with code 1POUND

Smilesandpiles · 30/05/2014 12:35

I think I'm going mad.

John Lewis has Christmas stuff in online.

freedom494 · 30/05/2014 12:38

Is that a good price wiseman? I am new to this loom business!

WaitingForMe · 30/05/2014 12:58

DH is really on board now. Just bought the Tonka fire station (the fire engine is also on sale - £4.99 down from £19.99) for DS's Birthday in November. Less than £16 for £60 of toys. Last year he was rolling his eyes, now he gets excited when I say I've found a bargain Grin

ilovelamp82 · 30/05/2014 13:05

I'm so glad this thread exists. It's lovely (possibly disturbing) that there are other like minded festive folk out there :) Anyway, here's another

Ive just come back in from town and have found a few bargins I thought I'd share:
Whitakers (sp?) have 30% off crockery and upto 50% off selected tea and coffee
99p Store seems to of gone micky and mini mad. I came out with a few stocking fillers and some mugs. They also have a selection of Disney books on 3 for 2.
Savers have reduced gift sets, but I didnt really pay attention to what was available.
Asda have some reduced playmobile. I have also checked that one online. its in the clearance bit unfortunately my links dont work when posted from my phone but worth a look

notamonkeysuncle · 30/05/2014 13:16

ilove I picked mine up this morning but havent had a chance to look at it yet with DD being off school. Its a good offer

lucysmam · 30/05/2014 13:43

freedom try The Works for bands, the one in town was selling packs of 300 for 99p and Amazon had packs of 600 for £1.19 a few weeks ago Smile

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 30/05/2014 14:01

My Christmas Planner has just arrived from Busy Bee along with a few other presents. Thanks for that one. I'm vv excited about planning Christmas now!

WisemansBridge · 30/05/2014 14:13

freedom that link is for charms to go on the loom bands, good price afaik. I've found The Works the best place for the actual bands for price as well as quality. We've bought from other places and they haven't been as good - snapping when trying to loop them etc. I posted a code above for delivery for £1 from the works, it's 1POUND. I've just used it to buy a couple of packs of the bands and a set that includes a loom board for making more complicated bands. But haven't seen any charms at the works so I bought thosr ones from amazon.

Mrswilliams87 · 30/05/2014 14:37

ilovelamp82 · 30/05/2014 16:10

Well, I'm going to put in my first request. If anyone comes across a good deal on those ready beds, preferably Cars or Spiderman could you let me know? TIA x

Mipe · 30/05/2014 17:00

These have probably been mentioned before but I keep ordering more as it is such a good deal - Sanctuary Spa Triple Moisture Bliss £3.60 at Boots. Delivery is £2.95 but still quite good if you order a few.
