So what's in yours?

I have for dcs:
New pjs
Character bubble bath
Toothbrushes
Bubbles
Expanding facecloth
Chocolate Santa
Bottle with their name
New personalised Santa sack

I didn't mean to get so much but got carried away completely!

I have also done for dh with:
Loungewear bottoms
Superhero tshirt
Superman boxers
Radix
Chocolate Santa
Bottle of beer
Bottle opener that plays his football teams anthem

They will be waiting in the living room when we return from our walk on Christmas Eve, I think I'm more excited for this than Christmas morning!

Ours is wrapped and under the tree with a big sign saying Do Not Open Until 4pm December 24th. Dcs are aged 11-17 so know what it is but haven't seen the actual contents. They are very excited.

We have:
Onesies All round,
Slipper socks
Lush goodies for the shower
Lynx shower gel for ds1 who will only use manly shower gel Grin
Popcorn and popcorn boxes
Tin of sweets
Cans of Coke
Doritos
No DVD this year as they have chosen films off Sky that they want to watch.

Pj's
Movie

They have hot choc in Christmas mugs ( only used Xmas eve)

It's more than enough they are already on the ceiling.

snowmanshoes · 23/12/2013 19:20

Ovo - really lovely idea xxx

I'm doing a hamper too and this year it has:-

Snowman shaped bubbled bath
Lush magic wand also for bath
Playmobil santa and snowman figure (dd2)
Mini lalaloopsy holly sleighbells figure (dd1)
Santa comes to.... and The Snowman and Snowdog books
Monster High mug DD1 and Sofia the first mug DD2
Chocolate stirrer spoon things
Mini Choc Santa x 2
Popcorn

No dvds or pjs needed this year so got a few little things each and actually I think I prefer it (probably cheaper too!) It looks lovely in a home bargains mini hamper lol.

Also got DH some new loungewear bottoms but I've had my Christmassy pjs already hahahaha

MrsMeow · 23/12/2013 19:45

Artandco, £40 for PJs?!

I love the idea of Xmas eve hampers, but tbh find it stressful/expensive enough doing normal presents and stockings. We do always have new pjs, DVD and hot choc on Xmas eve though.

Guitargirl · 23/12/2013 19:48

I am itching to go and get it ready (and am knackered and want an early night!) but have to wait until the DCs are asleep and I can hear them still chatting. God knows what I will be like tomorrow night...!

MrsMeow · 23/12/2013 19:49

OvO that's really lovely xxx

Frozenatchristmas · 23/12/2013 20:00

Lovely OvO.

We have a new onesie, slippers and monsters university and the croods on dvd.

Artandco · 23/12/2013 20:01

Mrs - yes around that, From petite bateau or similar. I'm not complaining, just saying that for us a Xmas eve box would equate to approx cost of their stockings. We try and buy less things but higher quality if possible

FeastOfPhteven · 23/12/2013 20:04

OvO that is a lovely lovely thing to do and a beautiful way your ds2 can be included every Christmas.

We don't do hampers, but the Christmas elves leave pyjamas and a Christmas book in the fireplace to be discovered Christmas Eve morning.

TheRaniOfYawn · 23/12/2013 20:13

New pyjamas for DD and me, clean ones for DP and DS.

Hot chocolate, marshmallows and popcorn.

Bath bomb.

Possibly mulled wine for the grown-ups.

Letter from the elf.

Reindeer food.

Tealights and cups to set out to light Father Christmas on his way.

Stockings.

Most things are just stuff from around the house rather than being bought specially.

MrsMeow · 23/12/2013 20:15

Artandco - ah I see! I only buy cheapy ones for my DC as DS doesn't flipping wear them (despite my trying!) and DD prefers to sleep in an old hoody or big tshirt.

I do love the idea of Xmas hampers but like you, spend money on the stockings instead.

givemeaclue · 24/12/2013 01:57

We don't do hamper but we do have pjs and reindeer food. We already have hot choc, snacks, bubble bath, christmas books and 2 new Xmas DVDs in the house if anyone wants them. We save the magic for Santa.
