I keep popping back and am very pleased with the Sylvanian Families bargains as DD has decided this is what she wants for her 5th birthday!
Still can't quite believe how the Amazon prices fluctuate though!

You guys are good so have come to ask if there are any runaway bargains at the mo for DC aged around 4yo, particularly for boys. Need to work on the present draw for upcoming brithday parties...

If you are buying something for xvox, then instead of paying what it says, buy the relevant amount of gift cards. At the moment there us money off lots of them on Amazon, Like this £15 gift card for £14.55. Not a huge saving but it could all add up:

I've 7 & 5 year old boys, and for last years parties I stocked up on cheap pj's from character then teamed them with a relevant book/pencil case etc from pound shop. So, for example, a child would get Spider-Man pj's (think I paid between £3 & £5 per pair) and Spider-Man sticker book.

My own kids have got the pj's and the quality is surprisingly good for the price.

I had been looking at Sylvanian family country market and saw it was reduced to £19.99 on toys r us website. was passing my local shop so popped in and it was £29.99, took it to the till and the lady checked it came up as £29.99 but lady said they price match, even price match amazon now so I got it for £19.99! happy I had no idea toys r us price matched but very pleased I asked!

joymaker I'd say they're true to size (and haven't shrunk in dryer, and neither has the picture on the front been warped as sometimes happens with cheaper pj's).

They've always gone down well - the book/pencil case satisfies the kids immediate need for something to play with, and the mom's always appreciate pj's (the kids like them for the characters)
