At what age did you stop giving DC a stocking?

DSS is with us this year for Christmas. He is 17. I think as this is his last year of being a child, at least officially, he should have a stocking. DH thinks not as he is too old. He is getting one as I am ignoring DH on his one, and I think DS will appreciate it, but I am curious what everyone else does?

I had one until i moved out at 18.

DH and me do for each other. The Ds are15 and 17 and Ithink I'll do them forever. I love the mixture of plastic tat and useful stuff (jumping spider, lip balm, paddle ball, shampoo).

DD will continue to get a stocking until I am no longer around - she is currently 19.

My eldest is 26 and has kindly presented me with a grandson recently. The stocking with her name on has been used every year since her birth, and will continue to be used as a template for any other family DCs. This weekend I will be making my grandsons one Smile

There is definitely no age limit Smile

DS is 21 and I'm thinking of not doing one this year and instead buying him a couple of things he really wants when we all go to the sales on Boxing day.

I don't really want to load him down with random stuff which he will have to carry back to Uni with him.
