We've got elf down from the loft, in-laws are booked to come down and help decorate, need to wrap up the few festive bits I've bought for the elf to deliver and sort advent calendars.

I'm getting so excited!! :)

So excited! Just wrote out the tags for the advent calendar, really looking forward to everything we have planned, its our first non-chocolate one so not sure how its going to go down with Ds6 but eager to make it a tradition with ds2.

Christmas bazaar tomorrow, Ds1 is so excited!

Sooooo excited....the elves are coming! Had one last year for DS just got another....an exact copy in different clothes for his brother!Last year he 'fell' down the chimney in a flurry of Xmas lights, snow(flour) and tinsel, this year the elf brothers will arrive in the back garden in a toy bus...or a helicopter!! I'm inspired by that dinosaur blog (parents make toy dinosaurs come alive every night....playing dress up in barbie clothes/painting etc) so ours will be found checking up chimney/drawing/building Lego....setting myself up to wrecked by 24th!

HaHumg I was just about to ask you if you could post some pics of your

Narnia/AnnaKarenia fusion.

Sounds heavenly to me. Smile

I am actually glad your joking as was feeling Envy.

I wish there was more Nutcracker decorations, I think the manufacturers are missing something there....

Super excited about tomorrow, super excited Grin

I am feeling very pleased with myself. I had planned on putting the Xmas duvets on the children's beds whilst they were watching a Xmas DVD tomorrow before bed but just checked on DD on my way to bed and noticed only her lower legs were under the duvet so got her Xmas duvet cover and put it on whilst she was asleep so she'll wake up to it tomorrow. She is going to be so excited. Especially as I grabbed a pillow from the spare room, put the matching pillow case on that, lifted her head and did a pillow swap all without waking her :-). DS never uses his pillow so I was able to get the pillow case on that really easily and, whilst he has a duvet cover, he's still in a baby sleeping bag thing so that won't get used this year. I can't wake for them to wake up...although would hugely prefer that they wake after 7, something they often do when we need to get out of the house for work/nursery but never do at the weekend!

It's today Grin
I excited because it's ds2's 9th birthday
We now don't do anything Christmassy, except advent calendars, for a week.

callmekitten · 01/12/2013 05:15

pigleychez is it possible for your elf to meet you at your new house? That would be so cool! And Dec. 6th is a great day for an elf to arrive. Ours always comes on the 6th. She catches a ride with St. Nick.

My tree is going up today :)
Yesterday I made a nice Christmassy spotify playlist to listen to while the decorations go up. Very keen here!!
