Stocking fillers for DS's girlfriend - 21 year old American student

DS' very nice American girlfriend is likely to be staying with us for Christmas and I want to get her some stuff for a Christmas stocking. Obvious things include bath bombs, shower gels, lip salve etc. She will be going back to the US in the New Year so it would nice to include a few British products - provided they don't weigh too much!
Any ideas?

Aw what a lovely idea! I would put some sweets in (such as pear drops or rhubarb and custard etc) and definitely some chocolate.

Oh yes, real chocolate - in this case not British, but sure she must like a Lindt Reindeer!

Tesco - yes, Tesco - has got a fantastic range of really nice slipper socks and socks in at the moment at bargainous prices. Really nice. I've stocked up for stocking fillers. Big stores only, probably.

Not in our house - DSs still have them and they are in their 20s (and so do we). DH and I have great fun finding each other small and sometimes strange presents - there's always a strange kitchen implement, unusual chocolate, small book (e.g. Carol Ann Duffy poems).

Sugar mice are lovely, although I haven't seen one in a while. Our very traditional village shop used to have them in big glass jars behind the counter.

I don't think Enid Blyton is a childhood staple in the States, so how about a Mallory Towers paperback or similar? You're never too old for Enid Blyton.

We have plenty of crackers in stock. She can even try my home made Christmas pud and cake. I'll try to get one Union Jack themed gift - the dafter the better!
