Children are in bed (tho not asleep) fizzy wine being drunk, wellies drying by an open fire after seasonal walk. Hope you all enjoy tomorrow. Monsoon 50% off starts today on line. (for those whose banks accounts have survived more intact than mine Smile)

CuriouslyChristmassyColaHam · 24/12/2012 20:58

Did anyone who ordered from the Jojo Maman Bebe sale get a delivery date?

Merry Christmas and thank you for all the bargains.

iloveholidays · 24/12/2012 22:00

jen127 · 24/12/2012 22:17

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed here, I would say I have saved a lot but also spent a lot on me! MIL and SIl both got their flowers. My halo is shining! All the very best to fellow frugal Xmas'er's!

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 24/12/2012 22:28

Also want to say thanks to you all. DH is converted to the benefits of mumsnet now! Merry Christmas to you all.

Piemistress · 24/12/2012 22:59

Merry Christmas everyone! Hopefully none of you have been affected by flooding, the town 5 miles from me has been really badly hit so 100 people were evacuated yesterday! :-(

Count me in for a sales thread :-) think John Lewis and boots online started already.

reastie · 25/12/2012 04:05

curiously I got dispatched email at 1am this morning Shock - what are they doing dispatching it at 1am on christmas day?! It's usually sent royal mail second class.

pie hope you don't get flooded. Poor people who have been evacuated Sad

How's everyone? How did the bargains go down? Ds is obsessed with his lego, esp the crazy scientist kit. And dh loves his jumper. Best buy for dh though? A nixon/kissinger book from poundland!

BikeRunSki · 26/12/2012 16:43

I ordered from Jojo sale. Didn't get a delivery date, but stuff arrived three days later. Ordered Tuesday (last week), arrived Friday.

KatyEb · 27/12/2012 12:57

Went out shopping on Boxing Day yesterday in Westfield and returned home - almost empty handed:) The truth is what I've found in store seemed more like last year's 'selected' left-overs exposed at reduced price (only rarely at 50% off and over). I thought I'd do more research online before I'd go hit the stores again so many thanks for posting all of the above codes, gives a wider choice to look through! In exchange I thought I'd share this offer I've spotted on HushHush' partner page: www.mumsnet.com/partner-offers/hush-hush - 20% off everything onsite with code MUMSNETSPECIAL20 (espires December 31st). Just bought massively discounted duvet set, see for yourselves, hope it helps! Katyxx

Piemistress · 27/12/2012 17:43

Was wondering if there was a sales thread elsewhere on mumsnet?

I haven't been into town yet but went online and got à few bits and pieces from boots, Lakeland and john lewis. Boo that the stuff I wanted from the Philosophy sale as pressies for next year was sold out!

LaTrucha · 27/12/2012 17:49

I have been thinking of starting one, but I have failed to find one single thing to buy in the sales so far, so I haven't. Boo.

Oreocrumbs · 27/12/2012 18:05

I was hoping one of you would start one!

I haven't and won't be going out sales shopping in the flesh, this is a week of reclining on the sofa and stuffing myself!

I have had a look around online but so far no good!

Bought a few bits from Lakeland online, got a couple of these for when I start digging my house out in the new year, and a few reduced christmas decs - some paint your own things for DD next year.

My order came to £30 something to qualify for free del then I used ek11 from these threads for £5 off a £25 spend, so it came in at £26 odd.

Quite happy with that, but the stuff I have seen online isn't really any better than the deals we were coming up with before christmas with codes.

On the plus side my regifting box is quite full of presents I have recieved this year! Xmas Blush

And in an amusing turn of events my MIL gave me a beautiful and very expensive jewelry box - that I gave to her last christmas!!

I won't say anything, but I will know! I'm quite pleased it is very lovely, but very sloppy regifting on her behalf.

reastie · 27/12/2012 18:18

Yes come on, someone start one Wink - personally I like the end of sales best in RL shops as you get alot of tat but the occasional gem so cheap it would be criminal not to buy it Wink .

OP posts:
MooseyMoo · 27/12/2012 20:38
