Lovecat has shingles and although she has very kindly said I am still welcome at her place for the night, obviously she cannot come out to play. Being a country lass I've never been alone in London and have only braved the last two meets because she was with me
I'm not worried about coming to the meet but I am worried about getting back again on my own to an area I don't know on my own

If anyone knows any Mners heading to the meet who could accompany me back to the north-east ish area of London then I could still come, otherwise I'm going to have to miss you all (and post Mamazon her pressie!)

how far is it from the venue? have you googled it?

there are three of us staying together near kings cross and it would be no trouble to drop you off in a taxi first - you pay to your destination and then we can split it back to ours ( assuming its not miles away)

Thanks Custy, it's further out than Kings Cross, right on the edge of the tube. Usually we get a taxi back but it'll be around £40 and I can only come because my gran paid for the ticket as my xmas pressie so I can't stretch to tax fare too!

oh dear, i haven't got a spare £40 sorry, i hope someone comes along with a solution

I need Queeny to check her facebook or here! She'll know who's going where - or I hope so! I'm happy to drive from Suffolk, or Cambridge or Essex if anyone is out that way, just really don't think I can do tube on my own at night!
