I am Not Organised, but have a mental checklist of everything I need to pack - this will desert me when I try to pack on Thursday as, no doubt, will my train tickets. Got to go on the hunt for my Oyster card now.

I ordered the 30 day shred thing, but as it hasn't arrived yet, I'm sceptical that I'll see any benefits in time for Saturday :o

i bought some heels.

i can't wear heels, so i have been practising. DH has spent the evening laughing his tits off. so i'll arrive in them with good intentions and then do the same as last year and go bare foot

Basically, I messed up and now have 15 people coming for a 'proper' (ie 4 course, home-made etc etc) lunch on Saturday. There's not a chance of them going home before 5, then we have 3 kids to put to bed and there'll be stackloads of clearing up & plates to wash and so on....even though DH is normally supportive of me heading off into the wilderness to meet 'total strangers' (MNers!) he won't be too happy if I leave him with all the mess - and I'm going to be knackered by the time the kids are in bed....:( :( :(

So....would anyone like my place?
