New board

Thankyou mumsnet for creating a new board. I look forward to sharing faith and hope in Jesus. Maybe let's start with a verse for encouragement to share.

Mine is from 2 Corinthians 6.

For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“I will live with them

Hi all! Happy to have found this board. I will have a think about words of encouragement.

Lovely to see this new board. (Used to be on the Christan prayer thread, but life got busy and I really couldn't keep up. )

Romans 8:1 and 28 from me: There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. . . And we know that God works in all things for those who love him, whom he has called according to his purposes.'

Happy to see this. I'm Christian and have recently started looking for a church. Nice to find others.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting this. I remember hearing it during the Covid days but I'd forgotten it. I'm going through a difficult time at the moment and I've been listening to this a lot and finding it a great source of encouragement. "He is for you!"

I'm also newish in my faith journey, my daughter was baptised around 18 months ago (entirely her choice) and so we started attending a wonderful church just over two years ago.

Attending church is now really important to me, and I'm gradually feeling more comfortable in my Christian faith ✝️.

It's lovely to have this space on mumsnet.

My absolute pleasure. I'm glad to hear the song has been blessing you through a difficult time. I often return to it and bask in the beauty of those words being sung over me.

I've had time to read back through the thread and have seen you've posted one of my favourite verses. John 1, Psalm 139, Romans 8 and Isaiah 61 are all firmly embedded in the memory. 💕

Great choice of John 1! I've just had a chat with our wonderful Father and asked Him to give you the strength you need to face the challenges you're having. He IS for you.

Bit late to the party but I am so glad this board has popped up. Somewhere on Mumsnet where I don't have to be scared of being my whole self and someone pilling onto whatever I have said and taking it totally out of context.

Ooh, I has no idea this board existed until today! Yay!

Nice to have a board where there isn't stuff interspersed with other beliefs and haters..although I'm sure it may not take the trolls long to find it here.
