DD 3.10yrs. Has been ill since end Nov with Flu, Croup, chest infections etc. She actue asthmatic, been in hospital over xmas. She was off preschool last week, for being quite ill, seemed okay so sent her monday morning, and all of yesterday, got a phone call this morning about 11:15 saying she has been just laying on a beanbag, not saying or doing anything, checked her temp and again its 100.4. I feel so much for her, she just can't seem to shake whatever she has got, i've spoken to docs on several occasions over dec and jan and they don't seem that bothered. TBH i'm very annoyed as shes been like this as i say since nov. Shes hardly been at school since nov with how bad shes been.

WWYD? would you take her back to GP or straight to A&E?

MuppetsMuggle · 07/02/2009 19:28

OP posts:
morningsun · 07/02/2009 21:18

its less sore thanks just check mon if at all bent etc and take back to a&e if is.
shame couldn't have automatic ent review cos its quite hard to tell if little noses are straight!
did blood test go ok or was it not needed in the end?
have you had to miss your weekend away?

MuppetsMuggle · 09/02/2009 14:35

how is your son MS??

thankfully managed to get away - abit late but it was a nice break nevertheless lol.

Took DD to see GP this morning, shes still not 100% and got an inflammed ear which is nothing new.

Hi MM,glad you got away for some of the time
Hope your dds picking up now~its awful when its one thing after another isn't it?
I was a bit stressed cos first my ds had wee beasties on wed, took him in late, then had his accident and missed 2 more days!
He went in today my dh talked to teacher and he stayed in at playtimes so he wouldn't bump his nose[i had hosp appt for my dd today]
but there is a lump on the side of his nose so better be on the safe side and take him back tomorrow/wed to a&e to get ent advice might ring to ask when best to go~
what a performance it all is!

MuppetsMuggle · 09/02/2009 20:11

Well what a trauma our lives have been this week. Sounds like a good idea to get him back to A&E. Hope your DD is okay too??

DD is not to bad is in a new bedroom tonight, we are at my mums whilst the bathroom at DP&I's house is being done - its being re fitted. shes still not to good but i'm sure she'll be a bit perkier in the morning.

OP posts:
morningsun · 09/02/2009 23:41

I know and its difficult always trying to come up with the right plan!
Think will ring a&e tomorrow and ask if just turn up again or what and go on wed
He was a bit dizzy yesterday but that could be his cold,i'll just keep an eye
my dd has ongoing illness it was a 3 month check up for her which went quite well thanks
hope your dd better tomorrow

MuppetsMuggle · 10/02/2009 08:31

Yeah i think if he's had a dizzy spell too, good thing to get checked at A & E. Glad your DD had a good check up

DD seems better, i think might be because shes slept at nannys last night lol. Just going to get her ready for school.

Keep me posted on DS x

Hope DH is okay and wasn't anything to serious??

Glad DS doesn't need surgery, lets hope the ointment and spray do some good.

Thanks mm ds got a/b now~he's 17 so not ill v often could be glandular fever if carries on but seems to have picked up today.
Whats happening with your dd now has she finished her a/b?

MuppetsMuggle · 15/02/2009 09:58

yeah she finished her course of a/b yesterday, was sick friday evening, but was fine not long after that. went back to dancing yesterday, didn't stay for the full sess tho, she was getting quite breathless.

a/b should clear your DS tonsilitus up in no time.

Hi mm hows things with you?
A really good thing happened today, the paed nurse came out to see my dd who's 15 and has crohns disease and was terribly ill last year.
She chatted with her about her health and anxieties and gave me a bit of support too which was great!
She'll be supporting us for a while and its exactly what my dd needed

MuppetsMuggle · 21/02/2009 09:59

Thats great news MS - good thing you are all getting the support you need. How is your DD coping with it?

I'm alright having a down day today, its a beautiful day outside, mum is having DD for the day (just waiting for pick up). DP is looking to finish the bathroom (which i'm glad about) so i feel like i'd prob be in the way . I could do some college assignments, but not in the mood tbh.

So not sure what to do, can't clean to much if DP is doing the bathroom.

OP posts:
morningsun · 21/02/2009 17:00

Hi mm
its a nuiscance when you get some time and don't know what to get stuck into isn't it
just sit down and relax for a change

MuppetsMuggle · 22/02/2009 18:04

In the end I went to mums and had a soak in the bath. watched a bit of tv, and then mum came in with DD and was quite glad tbh, silence is a killer lol.

We've been down the seafront today, DD rode her bike along the front and on the pier. popped into see my sister and her fiance for a cuppa. came home, walked DD to mums, we went and done our shopping. DP has gone to sort a computer out for a friend so i'm round mums and currently she's bathing DD

OP posts:
morningsun · 22/02/2009 19:27

sorted!
