It's everywhere - blister like, but it's not a blister blister - legs, elbows, under arms, tummy, I'll try to attach photos, currently on waiting with NHS but I'm going mad?!?! Clearly it's itchy for her but other than that no other symptoms at all. Anyone, anything, please help!!!!!

That's hives by the look of it, children can get it as an allergic reaction and with colds etc, my son had it all the time

buffysbuffet · 05/09/2021 19:44

Looks like an allergy of sorts. Have you tried antihistamine?

buffysbuffet · 05/09/2021 19:45

And calamine lotion

But you'd need to find out what's caused it still

Lanawondering · 05/09/2021 19:46

Chickenpox??? Really? When I had it ages ago certainly didn't look that way. no fever, eats well, no other symptoms at all... my DH is on the phone with NHS right now so let's see what they'll say... but I'm literally having a panic attack and she find it very amusing...

Urticaria- possibly viral.
Possibly allergy. Mine had this. We happened to be at GOSH when they turned up so I was quite pleased someone knowledgeable was able to calm me down

Hives? Never ever seen anything like this or had something like this... as for allergy... no idea what could have caused it.... but I'm going through everything she ate or touched recently in my mind....

Molluscum??

riversmoothies · 05/09/2021 20:03

My son had an allergy we didn't find out until he was nearly 4 and he constantly had this kind of skin reaction, was horrible for him

twinmum86 · 05/09/2021 20:04

Another one saying hives. I be of mine had it - presumably viral as we've never found an allergy trigger.

If you have sores in your mouth could it be hand foot and mouth virus? Has she got any actual spots round her mouth, palms or feet? Or groin area? And ulcers in her mouth

WetWeekends · 05/09/2021 20:06

I agree they look like hives. My son went through a phase of randomly getting hives on his cheeks with no other symptoms. We never found out what was causing it, then it stopped after about 18 months. The GP said to give Piriton each time even though they didn’t bother him, in case the reaction got worse.

Just small tiny one on her left cheek, but that's it, nothing directly or around the groin are, just on her hips and legs, back and front, nothing on her fingers, palms but some on arms and elbows. I've only heard about foot to mouth, never knew what it looks like although it's my second child. And my cold sores-looking like lips and my mouth are the only place I have issues... she's already in bed, DH got back with lotion for allergies, already got it all over her and she's absolutely calm and nearly asleep... and I'm loosing my mind....:) Still waiting for the NHS call though...

Definitely looks like hives. I get them quite often when I have a virus just how my body reacts. Piriton usually works a treat. Best to get checked out though as you are doing.

NormaSwilly · 05/09/2021 20:24

It's hives, op.
In toddlers it's really common as a bit of an immune system overreaction to a minor virus. Because their immune system is gearing up still it gets a bit overzealous in response to a bug of some sort and hives are the reaction. They are itchy but harmless.

It can also be an allergic reaction but in a toddler I bet it's just an immune system viral response, this is much more common. I have 4 kids and 3 of them had attacks of hives in toddlerhood. None of them have any allergies.

NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy · 05/09/2021 20:26

Definitely hives. Give her some antihistamine and they'll settle down

Lanawondering · 05/09/2021 20:29

@ParvaAvis

Molluscum??
Another OMG!!!! This is awful! And again never heard of it. Hers looks much bigger and no pimples. Every time I google something I'm like - what the hell?!?!? Obviously I was very lucky with my first one... other than cold and a few stitches here and there and that's it.... probably that's why I'm overreacting and panicking... How do you get molluscum????? google will let me know...

Do you have a pet? I get that type of rash off my lab sometimes, on my arm. I get it when it’s hot, clammy too and when I get hayfever. It tends to go down if I leave them alone. Doesn’t happen often, just now and then.
Do you have any liquid piriton.. Doesn’t look like chicken pox to me.

Suzi888 · 05/09/2021 20:32

Stop googling! Wink especially if she’s calm. I expect they’ll be gone by morning. Hope 111 get back to you soon and put your mind at rest.

FAQs · 05/09/2021 20:33

Do you have a 24 hr pharmacist you can take the photos to? (If they still exist)

Mammaaof · 05/09/2021 20:33

I think you need to calm down op, Jesus. It looks like hives.
