DS (2)
Just noticed these at bath time
He's had a temp for 36 hours, vomited once yesterday.
He does have eczema and gets some little spots from time to time but not as many as this

Can't see anything.

123bananas · 07/12/2016 20:25

Aha

sunnyandrainy · 07/12/2016 20:26

Looks like a viral rash to me (but not a doctor)

Makinglists · 07/12/2016 20:27

Has he had chickenpox?

AfroPuffs · 07/12/2016 20:27

Chickenpox?

123bananas · 07/12/2016 20:27

The one on his arm looks like chicken pox.

EffieIsATrinket · 07/12/2016 20:27

Chicken pox

Dontsayfuckorbugger · 07/12/2016 20:28

Start of chicken pox maybe. Hard to see but they usually follow after a fever. If not chicken pox then probably just a virus. Children and babies get spots with virus'

glitterandtinsel · 07/12/2016 20:28

Chicken pox from me too.

mallyboo · 07/12/2016 20:29

Looks like chicken pox, has he had chicken pox? How quickly did they appear?

Hand, foot and mouth maybe? An allergy? Have you changed your washing powder or anything?

Could be a viral rash with the other symptoms though they're usually flat rashes and cover patches, like petechiae

amysmummy12345 · 07/12/2016 20:29

I'd go with chicken pox

Badhairday1001 · 07/12/2016 20:30

They look like chicken pox, they usually start slowly and then pop up everywhere. You will know by tomorrow as they will be itchy.

Fairylea · 07/12/2016 20:32

Chicken pox.

bloodydrama · 07/12/2016 20:35

Argh. He's not had chicken pox yet.
I have a 5 month old too, I'm guessing she'll get it too then? Confused
They weren't there this morning when I got him dressed.

Flea bites??

bloodydrama · 07/12/2016 21:18

Get piriton it takes away the itch.

shewolfmum · 07/12/2016 23:33

Don't take piriton..well i wouldn't. looks like chicken pox to me too. Bath with oats to help soothe skin. No nurofen or ibruprofen can have very bad effect. let fever do it's job if you can.

Makinglists · 08/12/2016 07:40

If it's the pox oat bath are fab- put porridge oats in an old sock or stocking tie the top and run under the tap. There are also special pox lotions you can get at least he chemist (can't remember the name). If your lucky it won't be too bad.

PicnicPie · 08/12/2016 08:19

Has he been unwell at all? Looks a bit like hand foot and mouth. My DD also had eczema so it wasn't clear esp as hers started on her tummy, but she and her sis developed the spots/rash on hands, legs and throat/chin. They were both unwell in the run up to it. The spots are small, itchy and blister a bit. We had it confirmed by a doc as I suspected c-pox. He said c-pox spots tend to get bigger and spread quickly and blister and ooze and then crust over. Whereas h,f and m tends to be more localised.

PicnicPie · 08/12/2016 08:20

Just seen he had a temp and vomited. This was exactly like my two DD'S.

bloodydrama · 08/12/2016 08:27

I'll do another spot check this morning (he's still asleep)
Baby DD spiked a temp 38.9 when I went to bed! Still BF so she's been at the milk bar all night. Cool now but I haven't checked for spots yet.
