Any idea what these spots are?

Just noticed these at bath time
He's had a temp for 36 hours, vomited once yesterday.
He does have eczema and gets some little spots from time to time but not as many as this

Does your little one go to preschool/nursery? I'd say hand foot and mouth. Cpox would have spread much more over night. I would get a doc to look over. Lots of h,f and m going around in preschool /reception at the moment according to the A and e doc we saw.

I would say HFAM - mine all had a similar outbreak

Just a warning - once they've recovered if some of his nails fall off don't panic mine little ones did and I freaked - doc said it's where the virus interrupts the nail growth

He goes to play group, it's their Nativity today
They've not had any other cases reported yet.
