Such fantastic news - you will sleep well tonight. So happy for you all xx

HelenaJustina · 18/04/2016 21:56

Absolutely fantastic to hear! And almost better to hear that there is a plan in place to find the source of the problem so that it doesn't happen again. Spoil yourself for a bit, you've got some emotional/physical resources to replenish.

Whereareyousleep · 18/04/2016 22:01

Brilliant news so please the blockage has gone have a lovely night at home

Minisoksmakehardwork · 18/04/2016 22:02

Bloody hell! If your original hospital hadn't been so anti x ray, they would have seen that probably days ago. But in a way, that they didn't has been a good thing because it sounds like you finally found the way through the right door to get help for your dd. I daren't imagine what would have happened if they found she was poop free inside. I'm sure you'd have been running to multiple more threads.

Fingers crossed you are able to continue down this path to a happy and poop free dd, with concrete answers and a management plan to avoid reoccurrences.

Hissy · 18/04/2016 22:03

Aw Littlemaemae you must be over the moon. I am so thrilled for you all, but most importantly your DD at being poop free Grin I know you have a long road ahead. However enjoy the next few days at home, in your own beds. Flowers

MiscellaneousAssortment · 18/04/2016 22:24

Hurray hurray! Grin

I've just waded through 15 pages as I couldn't be on here over the weekend. Thank God for poooooo!

I could feel myself breathing faster and shallower just reading it all, goodness knows how anxious you must have been.

Next, the diagnosis, and the next after next is treatment and management. A few deep breaths and some blessed time at home with ALL of your family.

Then deep breath and onto the next journey, with a massive bunch of mumsnetters with you. You don't travel light with all of us in your pocket Wine Cake

mineofuselessinformation · 18/04/2016 22:37

Hope you're fast asleep and able to relax - it's been a long haul.

Do you have a diet she has to follow, or can she eat what she likes?

VagueIdeas · 18/04/2016 22:46

Excellent news!

Really hope Leicester are equally on the ball when it comes to carrying out tests and hopefully getting a diagnosis.

age81 · 18/04/2016 22:48

Such great news FINALLY!

Just sitting on the toilet with her legs raised slightly might help with the wind, or in bed on the left hand side.

Hopefully the trumps will come out quickly and painless!

Well done OP you have been a superstar!

Fantastic news. I bet it's such a relief for you all to be home and with one another again, especially for DD1. I hope that moving forward a diagnosis and treatment is found for your DD and she moved onwards and upwards with her health Thanks

Aliasnumberone · 18/04/2016 23:40

My lord you and your poor dd have been through the mill. Well done on keeping the faith and shouting for your dd. your gp btw needs a proper disciplinary investigation, Im agog at his dismissal of your dds issues.

Haven't posted before as nothing useful to add but have been with you through all 3 threads and couldn't be happier to read your latest update Littlemae. I know you and DD still have a journey ahead of you but I'm so glad this part is over for you both, will be keeping everything crossed the hospital get a plan sorted out so this never happens again and things are easier for you all from now on. Hope you're both snug in your own beds tonight, you've been rock solid for your girl and she's been so brave Flowers
