Joseph's ongoing journey with Neuroblastoma

I've lost count of the thread number now, but my 3 year old DS, Joseph, was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called neuroblastoma last year.

Part-way through treatment he has relapsed (currently still clarifying that, but it's almost guaranteed) and at that point long-term survival is less than 5%.

He is beautiful and wonderful.

Thumbwitch · 18/05/2013 00:49

That is great news! So happy that the scans showed something more positive for a change, and we'll keep praying for the miracle that is his recovery.
Have a lovely weekend! Thanks x

Tonight trazzle I looked at my DD's little body as I got her ready for bed and even the thought of something disrupting her perfect little body (let alone being the reality) made me so angry and heartbroken in equal measure. I have no idea how you've kept your composure in every post.

You and your wonderful little boy have my utmost respect.

Love from the Essex coast xx

barefootcook · 18/05/2013 02:34

So there is hope Trazzle. I'll keep going with the candle lighting, prayers and positive thoughts from this end of the earth. Hope the treatment goes well next week.

MyShoofly · 18/05/2013 04:18

Oooh sending a prayer out into the universe Trazzle...It's not over yet - there is still hope!

tholeon · 18/05/2013 06:01

I hope you have such a lovely celebratory family weekend all together before treatment starts again on Monday. X

Theironfistofarkus · 18/05/2013 06:42

Never posted on this thread before but have been watching and willing little Joe to get better. Am not religious but this sounds like a miracle if ever there was one! So, so happy for you! Best of luck with the radiotherapy next week.

scarecrow22 · 18/05/2013 06:49

been reading all night and every time I have tears in my eyes for you. x

Chathampocket · 18/05/2013 06:54

So happy with this news, you have been in my thoughts so much x

lougle · 18/05/2013 07:52

Wonderful, wonderful news. Wonderful. Every time the scan doesn't make sense is a day to be overjoyed.

DNiece has Rhabdoid Tumour and every scan is expected to bring news of spread to other organs. So far, no. They keep sending the samples back to be tested because it just isn't behaving as it should.

Let's cheer for those stupid tumours that can't even do what they're meant to do Grin

BibbityBotBot · 18/05/2013 07:52
