He has survived the most horrific cancer treatment with his smile, joy and love intact. Unfortunately the neuroblastoma has survived too.

Trazzle, he's a star, isn't he. And you are the mummy of that star. Well done both of you.

superfluouscurves · 06/05/2013 09:18

Good on Joe for his determination!

(The frustration of a 3 yr old knows no bounds at the best of times - never mind everything Joe has gone through recently - reckon he is kindly directing it towards the person he adores the most Trazzles!!! Smile)

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 06/05/2013 11:05

Oh Trazzles I'm afraid I just laughed and then had a little prickly eye moment. Bless him. What a wonderful little boy you have there.

narmada · 06/05/2013 12:08

yay brilliant Joe. It's amazing what they can do in order to show the world the are their own people :) :)

Goldmandra · 06/05/2013 14:12

wondering whether he actually does hate me and really thinks I don't love him

He does it because he knows you love him (joint) most in the the world and because he loves you (joint?) most in the world too.

You are his safe haven. Never forget that.

NorksAreMessy · 06/05/2013 19:14

Just checking in to send some love and hope you have been able to enjoy this glorious day
x

MrsFrederickWentworth · 06/05/2013 19:25

And because he doesn't have any other words to express his frustration.

toffeelolly · 06/05/2013 19:44

We've had a fantastic weekend, thanks: lions, tigers, sharks, manta rays, old friends... Just wonderful.

Back to business as usual tomorrow though, back to hospital for an appointment with Joseph's Consultant to chat things through a bit more.

narmada · 06/05/2013 23:24

Where did you find loins, tigers, and manta rays in one place Grin?

Fab you had a lovely weekend. That's so great.

You all deserve a lovely weekend Trazzles so glad you got it! Thinking of you today x

oxeye · 07/05/2013 10:48

I read rather than post, so as not to clutter; but Trazzle, I cannot get the image of Joe with his hand on your cheek gazing into your eyes out of my mind.

Thinking of you all and I have signed up to give blood

Trazzletoes · 07/05/2013 13:56

Oh my word what a rollercoaster... How's Consultant has said now that there has been the odd case in the past, once in a blue moon, where a case has presented like Joseph's has, and then the relapse has gone away all by itself! So they are re-scanning in a couple of weeks to see whether or not it has grown.

It's been made very clear to us that this is really unlikely so we shouldn't get our hopes up. But how can we not?! And then I guess it will feel so much worse if the scans confirm the cancer has grown/spread.

Please pray that Joe can have this miracle.

By the way, if you know me IRL, please don't mention this as, at the moment we aren't sure how much of this to share. Thanks.

Will be sending prayers and thoughts for you. Big hugs to you all.

superfluouscurves · 07/05/2013 14:01

Praying more and sending more positive thoughts Trazzles x

Thumbwitch · 07/05/2013 14:02

Praying very hard for you and Joe, Trazzle. Go away tumours! More light splodging, ginger crossing and everything else from Australia. x

ToffeeWhirl · 07/05/2013 14:09

Oh, Trazzle, it would almost have been kinder of him not to have raised your hopes like this, but I so, so wish it will come true. The constant changes in expectations must be exhausting for you. xx
