Another continuation thread for Joseph's ongoing fight against the aggressive cancer, neuroblastoma.

Stable is ok. Another day down. Praying for improvement tomorrow

Another day further forward. Thinking of you all & praying hard for Joe.

Thinking of you all. I hope that the Drs are able to sort out the fluid build up.

Good to hear he isn't getting any worse. But sorry to hear about the fluid retention. Hoping for improvement very soon.

Stable again. The fluid is still collecting... His poor little tummy is so swollen. And it's bruising from the pressure inside

He is thoroughly miserable and I don't blame him at all. More scans this afternoon to see what the fluid is doing in the areas around his lungs.

Oh. Poor little love. I hope he's able to get a moment of comfort somewhere in the day.
It must be so hard to watch him going through something so very, very terrible.

So awful. I wish there was something that could be done, as do you I'm sure. Hope the scan is positive.

Hope they can do something about the fluid and that he not only remains stable but starts to improve. Poor little boy - hope he can watch the Penguins thing on i-Player too. xx

Poor little mite I expect actually getting the scans will be a wretched process because of his discomfort but just hold on to the fact that it's needed so you can move forward.

Thinking of Joe. Hoping that the scan has helped the doctors find a way of dealing with the fluid build up and that the scan has been bearable for Joe.

So sorry brave little Joe that you have to endure this all.

Also, thinking of you Trazzle, so sorry that you have to see Joe so poorly on a day to day basis.

I'm watching happy feet two with ds right now. He wants to dance along with them, I want to squeeze and hug him, but he keeps fighting me off. I wish and hope (I don't pray, but I might start) that Joe is on the road to recovery. So you can squeeze and hug him soon. And that he can fight you off when mummy's annoying him.

Oh he fights me off Fizzy most times I try to kiss him he shoves my face away

We are going to the zoo soon, they have the penguin walk every day. I will take photos for you.

Unfortunately not. No, it was actually the penguin man at the aquarium who ridiculed him for assuming pengiins only live in cold climates. We've never let him live it down
