Glad to hear that you're more positive today. I have been splodging for you and Joe over the weekend and continue to hold you and your family in my thoughts.

Happy Birthday Have / and

I hope that today is more positive and that at the very least you get to eat lots of cake and chocolate.

Please don't stress yourself out over shouting. We all do it occasionally and it's even more understandable given what you're going through. The fact you feel so guilty shows what a lovely Mum you are. Joe knows that you love him.

Sorry that Joe isn't progressing as quickly but he is progressing so focus on that.

If you need me it really isn't a problem. I might not be on here every day but I'm only a phone call / text away. X

I've had a reasonable day. DH and I went for lunch which was amazing except the service was so slow they put my meal straight in a takeaway box and I ate at the hospital instead

It was lovely to have a bit of time just the 2 of us talking about normal stuff.

And Joe has been on good form. He was meant to go for initial appointments about radiotherapy yesterday. That's been postponed but his consultant thinks he can go as early as next week. He has been so bright, taking a couple of assisted steps, "wrestling", actually moving his right arm again (the dr has told him his thumb is better now). He has spent more time in his chair.

It has pretty much been the best birthday present ever.

Happy Birthday lovely trazzles may the day bring small joys and the year bring huge triumphs.
