Hope today's been OK and those neutrophil whatsits are up, up, up. Glad you'll have your sister with you.

Glad you have your sister with you.

Have been thinking a lot about Joe today. I so so much hope that his liver is starting to recover and doctors have been able to reduce the fluid pressure build up.

Trazzletoes · 09/03/2013 19:23

Neutrophils are well up today (0.7!!!!!!!) - bearing in mind they were solidly around 0.2 on Monday and not shifting, and at 0.8 his body can fight an infection by itself...

He's been allowed some tiny sips of water and has had a feed running extremely slowly in to his tummy as well - yesterday this all seemed like ages away!

His liver has only improved a tiny bit, if anything, but he has been talking more today and needed less pain relief. It's way way too early to declare that this is him starting to finally get better but I have to admit to crying when he had his water - he was just so happy to be allowed something to drink. Hoping for another few stable days at this level.
