Sounds a bit pathetic actually, but I don't know whether to leave it or not. He fell quite hard and grazed it on Tuesday, cried a bit then was fine. Friday at his grandmas he fell again on the same elbow. He came home from grandmas yesterday, didn't tell me he had fallen again, and then this morning played football and fell again on it. He came home from footie and asked for a plaster, there is a small weepy looking graze that has had the scab off obv this morning, and then a big puffy circle around the graze. Bending and straightening ok, but very sore to touch the red puffy bit and it's hot.
Honestly my gut says its infected, which is causing the swelling and redness/heat and the pain. The actual graze is a pissy little thing that's barely worthy of a plaster.
Do I go to gp in the morning or minor injuries unit? Def not a&e that would be sledgehammer to crack a nut!
