When sudocrem doesn't work on nappy rash what should I try next?

It's not bothering dd but is raised and red and sore looking at front and back.

Wow put it on around midnight (woke her especially so it could work its magic) and already significantly better. Have just applied again.

Now the redness is significantly reduced I think you are all right and it is thrush as raised bumps with White bits remain. Any reason I can't diagnose this myself and use the cream we were given 9 months ago - it's still in date?
