DS1 loves books, but has become rather attached to the ones he has had a long time and we often find ourselves reading things like 'Thats not my puppy' at bed time as thats what he picks out!

Am thinking I will have a clear out of his book shelf soon, put the baby board books in Ds2's bedroom for him and others downstairs for us to look at in the day and just keep the slightly longer, more bedtime reading ones upstairs in DS1's room.

Any recommendations for ones I can get him to add to his bedtime stories?

I have recently got him 'The tiger who came to tea' and have just ordered the Dr Seuss collection from the Book People (I loved those books when I was younger!)

I'm looking for books that have a paragraph or two of writing on each page rather than just a short sentence iyswim.

Thank you!

haha well yees, we have a Little Red Train compilation, and I really get tired of reading green light for the little red train every night. It's a bit like that with Richard Scarry, too.
I suppose that's why library books are good, as you dohave to change them eventually!
