I know Jura! - obviously DS does not know about any rude connotations to that but he will suspect something pretty soon if I don't stop falling off the bed in hysterics.

snowleopard · 17/03/2008 13:48

Though I hasten to add Kathy - that's not the only thing that's funny about it.

Troutpout · 17/03/2008 13:48

i like
'Yertle the turtle'
'Gertrude McFuzz'
and 'What was i scared of?'

Blandmum · 17/03/2008 13:49

Cat in the Hat.

I can recite most of it from memory

I need to get out more!

Sputnik · 17/03/2008 13:53

Fox in Sox.
The challenge is to get through it without fluffing a single line (never quite managed).

purpleduck · 17/03/2008 14:18

green eggs and ham

Kathyis6incheshigh · 17/03/2008 14:19

So no-one else loves Marvin K Mooney then.

We do that with Fox in Socks too Sputnik

I'm great on the tweetle beetles, but the three freeze trees get me every time

TheMaskedPoster · 17/03/2008 15:31

'What was I scared of?' - DEFFO!

'I said, "I do not fear those pants
With nobody inside them."
I said, and said, and said those words.
I said them. But I lied them.'

classic Seuss

The Cat In The Hat. Love it. The fish as the über-ich, Thing One and Thing Two as unleashed anarchic forces. There are so many ways in which the Cat is a good thing and so many in which he is a bad thing. I could write an essay on it (and probably will one day)

BBBee · 17/03/2008 21:57

hop on pop

NoNickname · 17/03/2008 21:59

I love The Lorax

avenanap · 17/03/2008 22:01

The places you will go. An old head read it to the leavers a few years ago and I thought that it was lovely. So fitting, I almost cried.

Hulababy · 17/03/2008 22:03

I don't know very many. At the moment DD keeps re-reading Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham over and over!

Posey · 17/03/2008 22:08

Because a Little Bug Went Ka-chooo

princessmel · 17/03/2008 22:12
