She is lovely child and I (as a Christian) have given her tiny gifts for two new years like small perfume jar and a candlestick. I have also given her paints and paper for a long journey back to her grandparents' country. She has come to my home with her mother. I would like to give her a book but am fearful of offending her fairly observant parents. Eg. The Christmas Pig would not be great. Any ideas? I would love to give her something scientific or entertaining.
