Some great stories that aren't just the classics (and NOT Peppa Pig Confused)

Another vote for Each Peach Pear Plum, Peepo, Meg Mog and Owl. Also try We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen, Dinosaur Roar, Eric Carle books, such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Julia Donaldson Books

Sorry haven't read the full thread but I love reading both my DC (1 and 3) Benji Davies. Gorgeous stories and illustrations.
The storm whale and grandad's island are beautiful but possibly Tad is more fun.
Also quite wordy but 'baby's first bank heist' and the second one 'baby's first jail break.' Funny and the kids love pointing out all the animals.
The oi frog series.
'Mini rabbit not lost' wonderful but makes me want cake.
I also think you can't beat traditional stories like each peach pear plum or chicken lickin. Also can't go wrong with hairy maclary Grin

Hiya,

I run a website called Tangle Tales www.tangle-tales.com

It's a website to promote childrens books to help them understand feelings and experiences they may struggle with and themes such as confidence, anxiety and family dynamics.

There's a lot of suggestions on there, which are also grouped into themes (friendships, loss etc) but they all make great interactive stories but also help create a dialogue with children.

I hope thats helpful :)
