what novels for a 9 year old who loves animals?

my 9 year old only likes books that feature animals + adventures. So she loved Podkin One-year and all the Narnia books. What else is there of that type?

The Animal Ark series? I remember loving them but might have been a bit younger than 9.

@buildalegohouse I used to secretly love them! I knew they were below my reading level and a bit twee even at 9/10 so pretended to my friends I hated them 😂

Seconding all the others who have said the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter. DD adores them.

Mr Penguin - quite easy but fun. Toto the Ninja Cat. Both very light reading but my 9yr old daughter enjoyed them.

The James Herriot books! My absolute favourites at that age.

The Animals of Farthing Wood is a brilliant book, if she hasn't already read it then she definitely should.
