Looking for ideas of books that will grab a 10-11 year boy's attention. What gave your boy's read that he wanted to keep reading and not put it down?

Wimpy Kid and Tom Gates too

My DS read the whole ‘Astrosaurs’ series, then the one by the same author about cow detectives. He likes the Guiness book of Records’ too. The Slime Squad/ Monstrous stories, (for a bit younger age group, but just for fun).
