My older DH is reading 'Nation' - fantastic story, I've read it too.
My SE is having Farmer Duck, then the ebook Slippy the Slimy Slug!
I'm going to settle with a cup of tea (or a glass of wine), then look at my 'Now' magazine.

What are you all reading?

Ds 8 loved Whizz Bang,he's now reading Adolphus Tips which he's loving.

Also reading my 3 (8,8 and 7) Lob by Linda Newberry which is a lovely book,they're enjoying it a lot.

DD1 is reading My Granny's Great Escape by Jeremy Strong. He's also reading Great Lies to Tell Small Kids. When he finishes, I'll have a lot of explaining to do . My twins, DD2 and DS1, are going to be settling down with me to read The Hungry Caterpillar, The Gruffalo (their favourite book ever) and, if I don't fall asleep, Sink or Swim- the tale of two cows learning how to swim, by imitating ducks, using armbands and eventually surfing. A literary great! I'm (re)reading Nightwatch by Terry Pratchett.

DS1 (4 yo) was read Green Light (one of the Little Red Train books) and Baggy Brown. After that DS2 (5 mo) decided that he's had enough of sitting in his chair listening to the stories and made sure tghat DS1 didn't have any more books by screeching the place down.

Friesops Fables a brand new publication by author, Julian Defries. is now a firm bedtime favourite in my house. Beautifully ?drawn? both in words and pictures. One of the stories is an analogy of a business panda seeking to ?corner the market? in bamboo, comparing him to the power hungry, wealth obsessed, businessmen we are all too familiar with. Very relevant to today?s world.
