What is everyone without kids up to this Easter . Lots of talk of Easter egg hunts for the children but not in this house .

Friday am off to a nice restaurant for friends birthday meal then home for a relaxing evening
Saturday off for long beach walk with another friend and our dogs followed by a pub meal
Sunday around to mum's for presents / chocolate eggs and roast with all the trimmings and bottle of something lovely
Mon been invited for country dog walk but am hoping to get into the garden if dry .

How's everyone spending the weekend.

We’re off to Cornwall. Weather looks terrible though🙄

The plan is walking, pubs, eating lots of lovely food & visiting my family for Easter Sunday lunch.

It is great that those of us not tied to school hols (sorry teachers!) can travel during school terms.

Madrid for me also in May for a couple of days (been before), then to Segovia, Valladolid, Salamanca, Avila and back to Madrid. Using coach and train and have 10 days. Looking forward to it, Spain away from the Costas is an amazing country.

This sounds fabulous. We went to Madrid, Salamanca and Segovia in December. Loved them all, but especially Salamanca.

Gig in London tonight, then going to Salisbury tomorrow for a couple of nights in a historic hotel. We'll get in a little hike. Any recommendation in the area? Stonehenge probably too far as DP has been floored by a virus and still a bit wobbly. Next weekend taking niece and nephew to Hello Kitty Cafe at Somerset House and egg hunt at Hampton Court :). Happy long, hassle free weekend to you all x

This sounds perfect 👌

Entertaining a friend for the first half of the weekend, then getting a new cat on Sunday. 😻

Don't forget the cat photo tax!

Seeing family for Easter lunch, Easter egg hunt with my nephew, buying and wrapping birthday presents for the nephews. Been to the market for fresh hot cross buns this morning. Doing some DIY in a minute. Maybe a walk.

I'm on call this weekend and it's been a busy one as we're so short staffed so staying over at the hospital. My partners son is visiting him and as I don't get on with his children it's actually nice to have an excuse to stay away.
He's heading back home Monday afternoon and finish my shift early evening so will go home and chill with a nice meal and wine in my lovely quiet house and not have to work for the rest of the week. Result.

We’re off on holiday on Wednesday so not doing loads, got a few bits packed before and will finish it off tomorrow.

Just did a bit of gardening since it’s the first time it’s not rained in weeks and it was looking jungle-like and now I’m going to lay on the sofa with a brew, eat some Easter egg chocolate and watch the next episode of Coma - it’s a bit daft but mindless telly 😂
