Name ideas?

I like the idea of having a name for my childminding business but am a bit stuck as to what it should be.

Anyone got any ideas to start me off?

My real name is Rebecca - may help!?

I would be wary of choosing anything that makes you sound like a nursery since what you are aiming to provide is care for a small number of children. It can be this that people specifically want when they choose a minder over a nursery. A kind of small scale "home from home" operation iyswim.

That is a good point, thanks.

Suppose I should definitely use "childminding in the title"

I have just noticed I have a lovely big tree in my garden, but not sure what it is!

You can borrow my tree Becca - I don't mind

peckarollover · 13/06/2005 20:46

I am trying to identify the type of tree that it is!

Have a leaf here and googling!!!!

peckarollover · 13/06/2005 20:59

Childminding @ Cherry Tree House ?

No that's mine

Cherrytree minding

SaintGeorge · 13/06/2005 21:07

My DS1 went to a nursery called Happy Days when he was 6mths to 3 yrs. He still talks about his 'happy Happy Days days' as he called them. He is now 7

Not much help but made me smile seeing the name and remembering.

peckarollover · 13/06/2005 21:09

Do you not like just

Cherry Tree Childminding

?

I think Cherry Tree Childminding is the best yet, friendly cheerful, homely, not twee, professional.

peckarollover · 13/06/2005 21:20

I have made a start on a website

Cherry Tree

Please ignore content, there isnt any! Its all the blurb from my ironing business that is in there at the moment

Please please please ditch the intro page and go straight to the homepage on the final version. Pretty please? Personally I find them irritating, even if there is a "skip" button to click.

SoupDragon · 14/06/2005 12:11

Great name though )

peckarollover · 03/11/2005 14:15

Ive had to go back to square one because of a huge muck up with my ISP

Toddle Inn Childminding

or

Rebecca's Little Acorns

OP posts:
HellyBelly · 03/11/2005 14:29

I like Rebecca's Little Acorns but then again, I like all the personal names anyway. For example, mine which is Helen's Little Angels, another lady who's website I've just started on is Silvana's Little Rascals, Jennytots (a website I did a while back, name Jenny and was along the lines of jellytots which I though was clever).

They are both nice though!
