Cheers

whirlygiggle · 13/06/2005 23:17

Feel free to tag on! I joined on Saturday night and am still plucking up the courage to join in a conversation!!! (not sure if I should but into others conversation..like they might not talk to me or something!) I am sure I will do eventually!

OP posts:
Smasha · 13/06/2005 23:20

thanks for that.
I listed a separate thread regarding the MMR, as am v. confused as what to do. Have you crossed that hurdle ??

kcemum · 14/06/2005 09:32

Hi whirlygiggle
Glad you've found a childminding group in your area, I must really make an effort to go to mine tommorrow or they will forget what I look like!

whirlygiggle · 14/06/2005 12:25

Smasha...i have not read previous threads on this mmr business, but i decided that the mmr was the way to go rather than the single vaccines...i felt that the benefits far outwieghed the risks....i have had the booster too for my girls, (they are 6 and 4) had we got a history of autism in the family, then I might have felt differently but i think i made the right decision for us. I think the fact that more people that are not taking up the MMR also increases the chance of my kids getting it if they were unprotected...maybe i am worrying too much about that and it is not reasonable but it was the way i decided ( does that make sense?!)
At the end of the day, they are your kids and only you can make that decision
