So... My boss agreed that dropping my hours/pay wasn't a good idea. I had a think+decided I'm going to stick it out. We both agreed that we needed to communicate with each other more etc.

I basically decided to play ball because in 16 months I'll have my NVQ3, and for all the rubbish I put up with, I'm in a really good position to study (own 1 bed flat, no bills etc)
However today, she's told me I can't adopt my friends cat. Which has annoyed me a little bit, but ah well...

No way normal BN

My friends dog is walked am, in & out of garden for an hour then she is out for 4-6 hours, she home, dog in/out then pm walk, he is fine.

What was his home situation before?

You let him wee go out and come back for the next wee, he can hold more than 2hrs worth if he is so minded.

Is he allowed in the house proper?

5 years!

OMG, I thought is was a 6 week old puppy. Isn't that like trying to get your young adult into a routine?

Hey, maybe I could get DH into a routine.

I'm sorry, BN, but two nannies is really all I can handle at the moment.

OMG - 5yrs though you were descibing a puppy

we get puppy {gulps} next week and sure my life will NEVER be the same!!

Though Mb is taking him to puppy training classes every week (thank god) I made it very clear that I am more than happy to have a dog BUT the fun and social life of the children will come first - I am not staying in all day, not dashing back after an hour - we have a garden, puppy will going it, as well as his HUGE cage in kitchen

think you need to change your driving instuctor to one who teaches in eves

if your MB did suddenly turn BN, could you stay at boyfriends etc, living in must be very hard when you suddenly have to leave

Hey, if you sign that contract, does it mean she has to go through eviction proceeding to get rid of you? Or do you have squatters rights?

MatNanPlus · 01/09/2008 19:55

Surely either your nanny contract takes into account that you have a all inclusive flat as oart of the deal on salary or your a nanny and incidentally a tenent so pay rent and utilities?

I don't know how much it costs, but 2 of my friends did the 'learn to drive in a weekend' course (1 had never driven before and 1 had had lessons a few years before) - I was really sceptical, but they both passed confidently... might help with part of the problem???

imananny · 02/09/2008 23:50

a good idea,though very pricey

www.learning2drive.co.uk/intensive_courses.htm and price list varies depending what level you are,but roughly be just under £600 to £1000 - OUCHwww.learning2drive.co.uk/price_list.htm

lessons are good, but its the pratice that makes a good driver - I had lessons twice week, and my dad took me out most nights once i had mastered the basics and tbh you dont really learn how to drive till you pass and you are in the car ALONE
