Hey can anyone help please I'm looking too hire a virtual baby ( the ones that cry ) my partner is going too be a 1st time dad and I think this would help me with his confidence before we have our little bundle off joy. We don't want too send too much can anyone help? X

If his disabilities impact on his ability to assume his parenting role, he may be able to access support through social care. I would encourage you to contact adult social care in the council who can assess him and arrange services as appropriate.

This is brilliant advice and I'm really pleased you're going to give them a call tomorrow - let us know how you get on. There is support out there and no shame whatsoever in asking for it Thanks

With the greatest of respect you both probably should have had this discussion before you got pregnant, if you actually worry about him not being able to care for a child. It sounds like with a seriously ill baby and your partner having medical and learning difficulties you already have a lot to contend with..you are going to need support. I'd contact the gp or midwife In the first instance and explain everything you have here. Get that support in place ready for when the baby arrives.

Thank you, we miss her like mad her big sister always ask she is and when she comes home which unfortunately she can't until she can get a kidney donner ( he's not her dad but has been great for me and my 6 year old & taking on my 8 month old ) x
