you need emergency medical forms
i dont think there is any hard and fast rules about first aid box so in mine....

eye patch
scissors
triangular bandage
tweezers
burn blot
white lint
stretch bandage
micropore
saline
low adherent dressings

other than that be calm, enjoy playing with the children.
You are a good childminder i see on here how much you care for those children, you do your best for them and they like coming to your house.

when i had my inspection someone said to me remember they are looking for what it is like for a child in your home so look at environment and things from a childs view. you'll be fine.

You are also required to have a complaints form in a folder ready to fill in should you get a complaint. One of my cm friends missed out on getting outstanding just cos she didn't have one of these ,the form you can use is in the back of the revision to the standards (dated about oct 05 I think).

she came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
took 3 hrs (not to bad) and only left when i was going to school
she didnt even go upstairs

inspection was a total ball so i'm feelin a bit upset

point 1) down graded on healthy child because 1 little boy has a bottle with juice in it (not my choice parents send it)

point 2) down graded on organasion because i have to put my knowledge over to the children and not do everything for them

point 3) down graded on stafey because the children play on the front unsupervised (fair enough) but parents had signed a consent form to allow this and children are all over 8

thats it really so i got a sat which is ok but upset cause it lasts for 3 yrs

Seems a bit harsh to me, you can appeal cant you, it may be worth it, especially as you feel unhappy with it. Contact ofsted to ask if there is anything that can be done, especially as she was there 3 hours!!!!!! You had everything signed, or it was parents choice, so how can she punish you?

oh no!..cant you contest it?, surley if you ahve auth from apretns reg these things(and can show her the agreement forms, even if you do one now and back date it!), she shouldnt penilise you!

Now I am really nervous for my first check! I got a call that it would be next month, as I hadn't really started quite yet (being messed about).

What should I have in place?
