Desperate for a Filipina Housekeeper/Nanny

Truly desperate. Our housekeeper/nanny fell ill 5 weeks ago and has been in hospital. We are having our house renovated and my DD is only 6. I work as does my husband. Does anyone know where, how, when I can get one from or if you can recommend anyone?

If, for example, you had a child with an SLD and you needed an EMT nanny with an RP accent you could advertise for an English nanny, though you'd have to consider anyone fulfilling the requirements.

I'm advertising for an English nanny currently (although I live abroad) because I'm British, I want an English speaker to support language acquisition and other EMT nationalities are problematic visa-wise. Conversely if we were in the UK I would be advertising for a French nanny for cultural and linguistic continuity reasons or a Dutch-speaking nanny (which really means a Dutch nanny as very few people outside NL speak Dutch!) to support language acquisition.

How about the people who adertise (mainly on Gumtree) for English Native Speakers only. Are they discriminating against the non english native speakers?
