Were you induced or not? A quick survey....

I have a theory but need some "statistics" first to see if it is proved or disproved....

Can you tell me if you were induced or not for each of your births?

Eg for me it would be

dd1 - no
dd2 - no

Thank you - will let you know if I'm right when I've got over 100 answers!

Right, well all your replies so far show what I thought would be the case... about 50% of babies of those who replied were induced.

I was reading "What to Expect When You're Expecting" last night and it confidently said that only 10% of babies were induced, which sounded far too low to me. I know that my "survey" was not exactly scientific, given that the thread title is more likely to attract interest from those who were induced than those who weren't - but even so, 50% is a big difference to 10%!!!

Stupid book

Just added on the new posts and we're still running at just under 50% induction ... interesting
