help, advice, everytime i check my pants-its WET!

im confused, i have been peeing and pooping alot!!!

and everytime i go to the loo, my pants are damp, not soakin wet but damp!

i jus felt it again now...whats going on?

yesterday midwife said that i have alot of fluid coming out ( wen she tried doin a sweep), and asked if i had thrush? or taken sum vaginal medicine ( cnt remember what its called) and i havent!
im 41 weeks!

baby is pp ceph +2

could you be leaking anmiotic fluid? prob worth a call to midwife, they might want to check. if waters burst and labour doesn't start they induce after a while (a day or two, i think it varies). this happened to me with dd1.

Pop a pad on and give the midwives a call. They'll want you to confirm what the fluid looks like. Dont worry - I had similar when overdue too and it was fine.

I had something similar to this. I heard a strange noise the night after I had a show, and the next day every time I went to the loo I was a little damp and there was this strange slightly chemically smell. But because of the show I was using sanitary towels for the first time in years in case my waters broke, and I thought the smell was them.
I now realise my waters had broken, but just trickling, and that's what the smell was!
That night - bang on midnight - a definate 'pop' and gush. And dd was born 10.50 am.

So, I could be wrong, but I think your waters might have broken and the baby has almost but not quite plugged the gap.

i suppose to doesnt help that all my cotton pants are bright colours and i cnt actually tell wha colour it is- does have a strange smell to it tho..

Yep - shower and shave legs, armpits, any other bits, wash hair.
It will help during that small time when you still have some sense of decorum.
That small time doesn't last long!
And ring the midwife!

I think it's definately worth ringing the midwife - especially if there is a new smell, it's likely to be amniotic fluid.

You're 41 weeks - it's going to happen sooner or later!

Mine did this aswell and everyone thought I was just peeing myself until midwife said it was sactually my waters trickling

k, im not sure what to do... i wana jump up and down, coz it MIGHT b sumting...but im so use to the idea that this baby doesnt wana come out, thats im scared it might b something...

im tummy feelin abit strange, could be a dodgy stomach!

gonna ring labour ward, then dh comes hme, which is another 2 hours... lets see if the dampness continues...

oh yeh, the dampness, its lik every few hours its damp..

I think its labour starting!

could be your hindwaters leaking......keep this bumped for lulu or lars or hertsnessex or other lovely doula types.

this happened to me, four hours later i had a baby. go get a shower and wash your hair now !

My waters started leaking the day before I went into labour. I knew it wasnt pee as it smelt sweet! Best to phone the labour and make sure you have a pad in so they can check it. I was monitored for half an hour then sent home and told I should go into labour within 24 hours - I did!!!

ahhh... well i had a little more dampness...and tummy aches, and i had a tiny bit of red blood, and if i wipe its shows brown discharge.

nothin to report, had tummy ache until 3 am, and now nothing...

hmm this baby likes teasing!

oh, how frustrating! I really thought it was going to kick off last night!

What did the midwife say?

why don't you call now and get them to take a look at you? Sounds like waters and a show to me - but you should get them tocheck you don't have an infection. Is the baby moving as normal?
