yep - just finished hoovering, floors next, then painting the kitchen and conservatory

I am guessing that this must be nesting!

lackaDAISYcal · 22/04/2008 14:45

C'mon Ellie.......puuuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssshhhhhhhh

lackaDAISYcal · 22/04/2008 14:46

dondons, sounds like things must be getting going weith you. Just don't knacker yourself before the big event!!

VictorianSqualor · 22/04/2008 16:15

Lol, I painted DS's bedroom, mowed the lawns, scrubbed the whole house, including behind the fridge/the larder/cupboard shelves etc, had not one little bit of washing in my baskets, went through the kids toy boxes, erm, I'm sure there wa more.
Might not have invoked labour but it did mean my house wasn't too bad when I got out of hospital

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 22/04/2008 16:16

(and she made wind chimes)

DonDons · 22/04/2008 17:37

lol at windchimes

it's amazing what new and filthy places you find in the house when you are trying to be in labour denial. Like the dust under the kickboards in the kitchen...and the fluff in between the cat's fingers and toes...

well done ellie.

won't be around much today - dd2 was at the hospital last night. They did send her home but not till nearly 11pm.

Dp is off today to "help" me look after them both, so I can't be seen to be mumsnetting all day

lulu or dondons - can you text me if there is further news of impending babies?

OP posts:
ImightbeLulumama · 23/04/2008 08:54

Thanks squonk! I should be glad really that I'm (so far) only 2 days over 40 weeks!

Eats her cake looking suitably chastised!
