'stabbing' pains in vagina!

Hi, i am 39 weeks pregnant and for the last few weeks have been experiencing a 'stabbing' kind of pain down below, usually when i walk! has anyone else had this or knows what it is please??

No idea what it is but I had the same at about 36 weeks. Eventually settled down. I guess its things moving in prep for the birth.

I am also having these pains - I am only 30 weeks though - I am assuming its the baby pressing on a nerve but I have a midwife appointment in a week or so and I'll mention it then.
