How much longer?

Okay, I'm only 38 weeks but am dreading going past my due date and still being pregnant in May. I've had the following:

1. period cramps on and off for the last 2 weeks - sometimes really quite uncomfortable.

1. Strong BH - are they supposed to hurt 'cos mine do sometimes

1. shooting pains in the tops of my inner thigs and pelvis (this has only just started to happen)

1. much heavier discharge. Not a show - more like snot (eugh I'm making myself feel a bit sick writing that)

Does this mean that I might go into labour soon? If not any suggestions for bringing it on soon.

No not yet! my theory of tempting fate by booking my son into swimming lessons today didn't work, but am going to try the hot curry tonight. part of me still thinks he'll come out when he is ready and coz i was 2 weeks late with first then it's going to happen again...hoping to be pleasantly suprized
