biggest & smallest babies. What weight was yours?

Just wondered as mine was pretty big...

My sister was just 2 lbs at birth though.

dd1 six two, 2 days early
dd2 just under seven, 16 days early

ds1 5 11.5 born on due date
ds2 6 13 born on due date as well!!!!!!!!!!

jane - they actually use metric here in Aus and then convert just for birth weight to imperial. Poor dh ( english) trying to fit in would tell everyone the birthweight of dd2 in metric and they would ask what that was in pounds and oz.

DS1 9lb 10 - 10 days over
DS2 9lb 12 - 4 1/2 weeks early

DD1 - 6lb 15oz
DD2 - 7lb 5oz
DS1 - 8lb 9oz
DH - about 12 1/2 stone (does he count if we're talking babies?)

7lbs 11oz = dd!

DS 8lbs at 39 weeks
DD 7lb 2oz at 39 weeks

I think its funny that we all think of our babies weight in imperial despite the fact that they weigh them and record them in metric and you ahve to ask for a conversion

I'll always be imperial - feet and inches if you don't mind as well as llbs and ozs - love their mints too

Kangamummy it's OK I can beat you on this one!! Last time we had this thread over a year ago I had the smallest baby and reading through it I still do.

My first dd was 27 + 5 weeks and was 1lb 12oz (small for dates too)

2nd DD was 6 lb 13oz on her due day.

Down I still hold the crown then??

Told both times I was going to have small babies (despite scans etc) as my bump was small;-

DD-8lbs
DS-9lbs 6oz

Both born at 38 weeks by c/section

DD 8lb 13oz
DS 8lb 12oz

both at 38 weeks

my baby girl was 7lb 11oz

dd1 7.10 2 weeks late induced
dd2 8.4 2 weeks late induced
dd3 6.10 2 weeks late induced
dd4 6.1 and yes - 2 weeks late and induced grrr

9lb 1oz Ds 15days late which is funny cos i was 4lb 6 born 2 weeks early so literally half his size...lol

ds1 8lb full term
ds2 & dd1 6lb 3oz and 6lb 8oz respectfully (4 weeks prem)

ds was 8lb 6oz and was 2 weeks early

DD1 - 6lb 14oz - 2 weeks late
DD2 - 7lb 5oz - on time
DS - 8lb 9oz - 10 days late
GS - 15lb 4oz - 5 months old & easiest of them all(sorry - couldn't resist that one)

7lbs11oz in the middle

DD was 6lb 2oz 3 weeks early
I was 3lb 2 oz and 8 weeks early so happy with her size.

DS1 8lbs 8oz, 6 days early.

DS2 9lb 1/2oz, 4 days early.

dd1 6lb 11oz 2 weeks late
dd2 6lb 3oz two weeks early

my ds was 7lb 14ozs (10 days late)

8lb 4 oz Ten days over, back to back, NO Epidurial, I was refused, too late.

Forceps birth.
