Don't be daft! You may introduce an infection or something may happen untoward. You'd never forgive yourself woman!

You know what, I think that the reason that vigorous sex is recommended for overdue babies is that it acts as a DIY sweep.

there's a reason why midwives are trained in doing this. Don't do it yourself! Risk of infection, breaking your waters.

Most likely however you just wouldn't do it right.

have sex instead, that worked for me!

I did loads i was also 2 cm having the odd contractions. And it did bugger all. Induction did the trick! Your always that bit dialated with subsequent pg. Is it your first?

Get dp to pinch your little toe quite hard. Something about the way it is connected to your uterus (reflexology and all that). I tried that too. Tried it all me!!!!!!!

1-2cm is quite good, honest it is!!! Keep going with the sex twice daily. Usually the experts come along and remind us all that 2 hours is a huge amount of time in which everything can change.

With my first lots of walking and sex did it. If its your first your on your way. Relax as much as you can you want to put that pool to use!

Ps i wanted water birth with this one but if your induced my hosp didn't allow it so try and hang on. I bet it happens tomorow

I had bad spd this time around hence being induced! Not nice is it. I know its horrible as as soon as midwife says you've started to dialate your like bring it on! Only for nothing to happen. Its down heartening but being 1 to 2 cm with your first is good! Lots of sex it is then!
