Been having what I thought was a show for a couple of days, and today it was pink and definitely a show. Woke up feeling a bit weird, chilly and shaky, and crampy and nauseous.

Think I've been having contractions but not rally been timing them as wasn't sure, but going to start now. Am 40+2, have an appointment with MW at 2.30 but wondering if I will make it!

Ok, looks like they about every 7 minutes. Don't think my waters have gone though. Should I call the delivery unit just to let them know?

G&A is the only reason I would get pg again, I was very taken with it!

I'd call your MOm, Bumper and let her know whats going on, then she can get ready for when you need her.

I'm so excited for you After 40 long weeks when it all starts, it is such a relief and so welcome

OK, Fannyannie so when you can't talk coherently or post here then it's time....

My waters had to be broken both times, so don't wait for that!

Yes - call the delivery ward. You'd know if your waters went. It strangely doesn't feel like you are weeing yourself iykwim. And with mine there was quite a lot of it. GOOD LUCK!!

I would call them just to advise them. Theyl prob tell you to have a warm bath (shave ur legs etc). Would put ur mum on alert also - my mums always at Sainsburys when Ive called! Personnally, my waters dont go until im about to crown and the MW pops them as they 'bulge'.

BTW, I could still talk and walk byt the time I got to the ward and was 5cm dilated - I went when the contractions were 5 mins apart. Anyway, your mw will advise you .

How are you getting there?

Bumper - you OK?

Try to do a bit of light housework coz it might be a few weeks before you do any and it distracts you & keeps you upright.

Ok, DH is home now. Just called hospital and they said to stay home as long as I am comfy and feel like I can cope on my own. Tens machine machine is a bit bloody annoying, but it's distracting which is a good thing I guess.

Going to aim to make my appointment at the surgery this afternoon.

Right, popping off to check my hospital bag so don't panic if you don't hear from me for a bit! Not going anywhere for the minute.

Ooh, good luck Bumper!! My dd was born 12 weeks ago today. She is my second and will be my last too. Feel strangely envious of you going into labour! Look forward to reading your birth announcement!

Take it easy, but do something to pass the time and distract you a little if the pain is a little unbearable.

Wishing I hadn't made a hot thai curry last night as am paying for it now. Just had a not nice experience, on the loo, contracting at the same time, and trying to balance the bloody tens machine and trying not throw up!

Oh the joys of labour!

I proudly announced to everyone on the labour ward that I'd leave it for a while before going to the toilet If I was them! Still makes me smile.....
