Hi Summer

At 40+4 they might not be braxton hicks! the diarrhea is another big give away, apparently that happeans alot as your body gets ready for the labour marathon

Sounds exactly how I started off with DH at 40+5. How exciting for you Good luck

Pheebe · 14/05/2007 08:14

OO no! meant DS not DH errrggggg

lulumama · 14/05/2007 08:16

labour is not far away, summerfruit...if you are having diaorrhea, don;t forget to replace the fluid you are losing....eat and drink lightly......sounds like you are losing your show, and your body is gearing up for birth..potter around, listen to your body, and reserve some energy for labour !

Have you spoken to the midwife? It all sounds very unpleasant - could you have food poisoning? Can anyone help with dd, how old is she?

You should inform you midwife, second births are known to be much quicker than first time round, you sound as if you cold be in later stages already.

lulumama · 14/05/2007 13:56

call midwife, fever is not neccesarily part of labour, you need to be checked out...

If you have a temperature you really should be checked out.

I live in SW London I'm at work at the moment but can leave fairly soon is there any help I could offer?

lulumama · 14/05/2007 13:59

sweetheart....fever might be a sign of infection, you need to be checked

also, how regular are the braxtons? if at all?
