Hello love

When you wanted your home birth with DS2 who were you going to do that through?

Queen Charlottes won't let me have a home birth with them, too out of their area. Same with Watrford and Edgware birth centre can't either. My last option would be Northwick PArk. Who were you going to do yopur through?

AIMS site should you have an issue booking a homebirth and homebirth site that can answer all questions re home birth}

you are entitled to a home birth on the NHS , without a doubt..it is whether the PCT will stand in your way or not!

I know I'm allowed a home birth on the NHS, it's just that I didn't really want it through my local hospital (10 maternal deaths and it being a general dump have made me feel uncomfortable with it, even though I hopefully won't have to actually go there, I just wanted to avoid it, completley, in every way if I could).

However I am prepared to visit it and speak to them about a home birth. With Mars on my side I feel more relaxed about doing that. If I get to Northwick Park and have all my fears confirmed, ... I'll ummmm, I'll...

Mars - can you not just quickly learn what to do and just deliver the baby, all in, that'd be great, thanks !!

That's alright love! I just wanted to point out that I do realise that I know I can have a home birth on the NHS, and that all the hospitals I'm chatting about are all NHS, it's just that I don't want my local hospital involved in it and looks like they might have to be..., so that no other very kind people offer me same advice, again!

TeeCee, maybe one of the MN midwives could come along to deliver the baby
