Length of hospital stay after c section?

Does anyone know how long the minimum stay in hospital is after a c section. When can you say I've had enough, I want to go home now? Last time I stayed in 10 days because my babies were in special care but if baby is fine when can you go home?

I had DS late Friday evening and got out Tuesday afternoon (was supposed to be Tuesday morning but they couldn't find a spare doctor to discharge me).

This meant several days of being the only one around to pick up DS at night when he was waking every hour or so... if there's a next time I am going home ASAP (24 hours or so, if I feel up to it) so that I have DH on hand.
