Hello,
I have plenty of information (I think) on the contents of the Pregnancy hospital bag, but I need help and advice on the best bag to put it all in. I was thinking of a Babybjorn Changing Bag Sofo.

Is this a thing now? no over-priced fancy bag will be big enough - take a big holdall!

Just took a small hold-all. With everything inside

However a few tips:

  • pack small bags into the large bag. Ie baby stuff in a small bag, wash stuff in another ( like hairbrush/ underwear/ soap), etc. Means you don't have to rummage through bag but can just take one bag out plus clean clothes and your ready for a shower. Can use large sandwich bags/ wash bags or similar.
  • take an empty reusable material shopping bag ( the type they folds tiny). Means you have somewhere to put any crap collected at the hospital ( leaflets/ booklets/ gifts if visitors come etc)

Can you ask someone local who has had a baby what you might need? I only mention it because I'm in Norway and they provide everything here nightdress/pants/pads/wipes/baby's first outfit/blanket/nappies/nappy cream/shower gel/Muslins/snacks. I just needed a change of clothes and a towel. U.K. Advice might not be relevant in Sweden.
