Which is the best Pregnancy hospital bag?

Hello,
I have plenty of information (I think) on the contents of the Pregnancy hospital bag, but I need help and advice on the best bag to put it all in. I was thinking of a Babybjorn Changing Bag Sofo.

I've just got a small hold all for the baby bits, a sports bag, and a larger over night sized bag for my bits. Nothing special.

All my stuff went into a little wheely suitcase because the hospital had very loooooooooong corridors and I didn't want to have to lug a bag around.

For my hospital bag I'm just using a small handluggage sized suitcase, nothing special for it.

I had 3 bags! A small one for labour and an over night bag/holdall for me and the baby. But any type will do to be honest.

In addition a small hand luggage type suitcase which had emergency back up stuff for a longer stay, although I left that in the car until it was needed so I didnt need to clutter up my space. Unfortunately I had an emergency c-s do the back up bag was used.

Just a normal type hold-all will be fine, I don't think you need anything fancy or special either one big bag for you and baby, or two smaller ones.

I'm using my pink lining yummy mummy bag. i'm not planning on hanging around very long (if at all. may still have a homebirth, i'm deciding on the day)

I had a small wheelie suitcase in the hospital (was induced so had to be prepared for a 3 day stay) and a large tote bag in the car with a pillow, whole pack of nappies & maternity pads etc.

Eh? Just whatever you usually use for weekends away, or as a large gym bag, surely? Mine is a £3 canvas holdall from Decathlon.
I thought the change bag madness was bizarre enough, but hospital bag madness is a new one.

I've got a small suitcase I'm fond of, it's packed with stuff for the baby and me for day 1.

There's another bag which I will label days 2/3 and leave in the car for DH to bring in. I'm having a planned section so will be in for 2 nights.

I'd recommend a large wetbag for all the things that need to go home to be washed; meconium stained baby clothes, blood and sweat stained nighties etc.

Don't worry too much about the type of bag.

Anyway OP, I've just looked up the bag you are contemplating and there is no way you will fit all you need in there for hospital.

You just need a large sports bag or 2 smaller ones. Needn't cost much!

Just a normal weekend bag ISO me for your stuff and stuff for baby. I had one for each of us as I was having a section so knee id be in longer, hence needed more stuff.

You really don't need a special bag just for the hospital. Choose a nice changing bag for afterwards though. :)

I just used a nike holdall that we had already. You don't need a special bag! I ended up staying for a week anyway so DH took stuff home to wash/brought new stuff in anyway.

Ive just looked up that bag. I think it far too small for a hospital bag.

Go to your local market and buy a small suitcase on wheels with a pull handle, that would be much better.

Yeah you really don't need a special bag.

I took a little wheely (hand luggage sized) suitcase for my stuff. We'd already bought a Mamas & Papas changing bag so put all baby's stuff in there. Then DH brought his own backpack.

And I still had to get him to bring me more stuff because I didn't have enough clothes and forgot my shampoo...

A changing bag alone isn't big enough. A weekend bag/ holdall is. Good idea of the pp who suggested putting the baby's stuff into a changing bag, and your snacks stuff into a holdall/wheelie, I'm in for cs next week so might do that...

Thank you for all the replies. As you can see we are new to this.
I even asked my silly question in a baby and mother shop and was offered a free canvas bag from under the counter!

It's great to be able to ask questions here though. We are in Sweden and miles (km) from anywhere and anyone.

I just used a normal hold-all. I was in for twice as long as expected and didn't use half of the stuff I took! I always overpack.
